Avoid pulling the tape measure too tight or your hat will fit just as snug. Measure exactly how you like wearing your hats (halo style vs classic style). Do not try to measure the inside of a hat.

With a cloth tape measure, start at the center front of the forehead. Hold the tape firm, then pull around to the ear, at the angle desired above the ear. Continue under your occipital bone, which is located in the back of your head, then back around following the same procedure ending at the start point.

Custom hats can take up to 4 weeks if we have the color you desire in stock. If we need to order the felts, the timeframe is dependent on what we can order from our supplier and their lead time to deliver.

You can brush off loose dust with a light-colored brush. Then you can use a clean, damp cloth and gently rub counter-clockwise towards the back.

Yes, within reason. If there has been extensive customization or sewing it may not be replaceable.

We recommend resting your hat upside down on a flat, clean surface. Avoid resting a hat flat on it's brim.

When not wearing your hat, it's best to hang it on a wall hook or place it in a hat box. Avoid leaving your hat in a confined space that's exposed to heat and humidity.

Flip up to air dry and ventilate, as this prevents saturation due to perspiration + hair products.

Brush the underside of the brim.

Remove the lining and soak it in non-abrasive soap. Do not force dry with a blow dryer, oven, radiator, or any other heat application.

We recommend traveling with The Hat Tote.

If a hat bag is not practical, the best way to travel with your hat is to keep it on your head.
